DARWIN

Darwin Barn is named after the English naturalist and geologist Charles Darwin*. Sleeping up to six people comfortably, just some of the features that Darwin Barn boasts include beamed ceilings, flagstone floors and underfloor heating (ground floor). The well-equipped kitchen features an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, a fridge freezer and a washing machine.

The property also has Wi-Fi, five Freeview TVs (including a 42" Smart TV), and there is parking for up to three cars. The sleeping accommodation is split over two floors.  There is one double bedroom on the first floor, with an ensuite with shower and toilet; and on the second floor there is a second double room (with a 5 foot bed), with ensuite bathroom with over the bath shower, and a twin room, with ensuite shower room and toilet.

Guests enjoying a stay in Darwin Barn also have shared access, with Clive Barn, to a garden with outside seating area, barbecue and 12-acre of natural grounds.

*Charles Darwin was responsible for the creation of the theory of evolution. Born in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, in the early 1800s, Darwin has been described as being one of the most influential figures in human history and was honoured with a burial in Westminster Abbey.

NB: Please note that there are two unfenced lakes in grounds, 50 yards from the accommodation.
